Privacy Policy

Roxya works without a Roxya account, phone companion, publisher-operated backend, advertising, analytics, or Connect IQ Communications permission. The publisher does not receive activity, fitness, position, or session data from the app.

Responsible publisher

Aurélien Ferlay, trading as Ferlay Training, Switzerland, is responsible for this app. Privacy requests can be sent to contact@axiom-app.dev.

Data kept on the watch

Your settings, the race plan, up to twenty saved workouts, an unfinished-session checkpoint, and the history of your last ten sessions stay in the app's local storage on the Garmin watch. The settings include your HYROX division (Women or Men, Open or Pro), which selects the official loads. The history keeps each session's segment durations, distances, and counted lengths or sets.

The app does not send this information to Roxya or Axiom App. A discarded session is not added to the history; a saved one stays until a newer session replaces it in the ten-session history or the app data is removed.

Garmin permissions

The Fit permission records the Garmin training activity with a lap per segment and saves it when you choose to. Run distance comes from Garmin's own distance measurement; the Positioning permission additionally requests position fixes for outdoor runs, and only while that run is in progress. Indoor, treadmill, and lap-only runs keep app-requested GPS off. The Sensor permission shows your current heart rate on the watch during a session.

Roxya does not write the live heart-rate value to its settings, checkpoint, or session history. Position never ends a segment: your LAP does, or the clock of a timed segment.

Saved activity and Garmin sync

Saving is explicit. If you save a session, the Garmin activity can include timestamps, laps, distance, location when an outdoor run recorded it, heart rate when available, and other fitness metrics added by Garmin.

Garmin may store or synchronise that activity through the watch and Garmin Connect under your Garmin account, device, and privacy settings. Roxya and Axiom App do not receive a copy. Manage or delete the saved activity using Garmin's device and account controls.

Free of charge

Roxya is free on the Garmin Connect IQ Store, with no subscription, in-app purchase, or advertising. Neither the app nor this website collects payment information.

Your choices

Change your division and other settings in Settings, and delete any of your saved workouts from the Workouts menu. Discard an unfinished recovery checkpoint or an unsaved session in the app. Choose an indoor, treadmill, or lap-only run when you do not want the app to request position fixes.

Remove the app and its local data through Garmin device management, and use Garmin's activity and account controls for an activity already saved or synchronised.

Contact and changes

If a future version adds a companion app, publisher-operated service, analytics, communication permission, or another data flow, this policy and the Garmin Store disclosure will be updated before that version is released.
