Roxya

Support

Choose your division once, then start a ready-made session, one of your own, or race day. Roxya works on the watch alone, with no phone, account, or network connection.

Download and compatibility

Roxya is free on the Garmin Connect IQ Store and runs on 54 Garmin watches, including the Forerunner 165, 170, 255, 265, 570, 70, 955, 965, and 970, the fēnix 7, 8, 9, and E, the epix (Gen 2) and epix Pro (Gen 2), the Enduro 3, the Venu 2, 3, and 4, the vívoactive 5 and 6, and the Instinct 3 AMOLED and Instinct Crossover AMOLED. The watch interface is in English and French. The Connect IQ Store confirms compatibility for your watch and handles installation and updates.

Before your first session

Open Settings on the watch and choose your Division: Women or Men, Open or Pro. It sets the official loads in every workout and on race day. Runs sets the default for the runs in your workouts: Outdoor, Indoor, or Treadmill.

Workouts

Workouts holds the library of ten ready-made sessions and up to twenty of your own. Choose New workout to build one from runs, stations, ROXZONE, and rest, in rounds; each station offers only the measures it allows. Save a copy of a library session to change it, and edit or delete your own sessions from their menu.

Race day

In Settings, Race Day holds the race plan: a target for each run (or one for all runs), each station, and a total for the ROXZONE. Choose Free pacing to record the splits without targets. ROXZONE as its own lap records the official 24 laps; inside the station, 16. You can also split the wall balls into sets and choose how run distance is measured.

During a session

Press LAP at every boundary. A timed segment or rest ends on its own when its clock runs out, and the watch vibrates when a distance or time target is reached. Distance and position never end a segment by themselves.

  • Count sled lengths and wall-ball sets as you go
  • Pause and resume without losing the current segment
  • Recover an unfinished session after an interruption

Distance and GPS

Outdoor runs request GPS positions, and only while the run is in progress. Indoor and Treadmill runs keep app-requested GPS off and use Garmin's own distance measurement. On race day, the distance setting offers Garmin Auto, Outdoor GPS, Indoor, and Lap only: only Outdoor GPS requests positions, and Lap only measures no distance.

Save, discard, and sync

At the end, save or discard. A saved session becomes a Garmin training activity with a lap per segment and joins the history of your last ten sessions on the watch; Garmin may synchronise it according to your watch, Garmin Connect account, and privacy settings. A discarded session is not kept.

Updating from Race Day

Roxya 2.0 updates Race Day in place. Your race plan stays, your recent race results move into the new history, and race day keeps 16 laps until you change the ROXZONE setting. Finish or discard any race in progress before updating: an unfinished Race Day race cannot be resumed after the update.
